Last weekend we headed a couple of hours down the M4 to KBIS Wellington Horse Trials, and what a brilliant event they put on. Great courses; real International atmosphere and near perfect ground. Huge Thank you to the Organisers, KBIS and all the Volunteers involved in delivering the event and for the huge effort in making the ground so amazing for this time of year, it really is hugely appreciated.
MISERDEN RAVELLO (Princess Flo) started the day with 30.3 dressage. jumping double clear inside the the time to finish in 3rd place in the BE100. She is yet to have a jumping fault or finish outside the top 10 this season!
NANKIN DES RUETTES came out for a fun spin round the Open Intermediate between Burgham 2* a month ago and Gatcombe 2* in three weeks time. A decent 31.0 in the dressage, followed by a slightly naughty old man spooky show jumping round, but redeemed himself with a lovely steady clear cross country. It’s too much fun with my best mate!
CHARLES RR had a great last run before Blenheim. matching Nonks with 31.0 dressage, the most unlucky pole show jumping and his standard awesome clear cross country! As planned we picked up some time to finish just inside the top 20, and I think we’re all set for Blenheim in ten days time
HUGE thank you to Tim Wilkinson (Eventing Images) for his ongoing support and the wonderful photos, Mum, Nat and Vicky for being supergrooms, and Maddie for being supergroom at home!
