Event Update: Mount Ballan

Two Days, Seven Horses and few Rosettes,

All seven horses were on great form at Mount Ballan this past week,

MISERDEN VIXEN owned by Sue Andrews was a WINNER! jumping double clear to finish on their dressage score of 26 in the BE90open.

Mr Consistent MICKS DILEMMA owned by Claire Ward-Thomas also jumped double clear and finished on his 26 dressage score in the BE100 claiming 2nd place.

MILLE FLUERS owned by Caroline Payne finished on her dressage score of 29 claiming 4th place in the Novice.

NANKIN DES RUETTES scored 26 in the dressage and jumped his usual clear SJ in the Open Novice, but didn’t run cross country as the ground was too firm for him

HIGH JINKS IV also in the Open Novice scored 29 in the dressage and jumped clear SJ. He had a great run at Aston le Walls in the Novice on the previous Thursday so I decided he didn’t need the run cross country,

MISERDEN RAVELLO  owned by Jeremy & Scarlett Bedford jumped a lovely double clear in the BE100open, however she decided dressage wasn’t for her this week ?

ALVESCOT DANCE TIME owned by Frances & Georgia Hatton-Brown had another solid run in the Novice scoring 34, had an unlucky pole in the show jumping and did his usual clear cross country, finishing just outside the top10.

HUGE thank you to Mum, Barb, Izzy and Jodie for making a very busy few days work! It was all going too well and we were meant to be going to Houghton with LAWA for the CCI**…. but horses being horses everything can’t go to plan!  After not feeling quite himself at Aston le Walls last Thursday he’s been checked over and will have some physio and head for Nunney International for the 2* in three weeks time. I’ve told him to stop being a plonker in the field ?
