Great day jumping at Burgham International! completing a great weekend up North!
MISERDEN RAVELLO smashed her first CIC* jumping DOUBLE CLEAR! After only a handful of Novices she made nothing of two tough, up to height jumping tracks. She really is incredibly special #smallandmighty #thinksshes17h2
NANKIN DES RUETTES put in his usual lovely jumping. Just an unusual pole down in the show juming then a great clear cross country in the CIC**. 17yo and he still loves it… we’d have gone a bit faster if he stopped jumping or going round the different coloured patches of grass/sand on the cross country ??
LAWA jumped out of his skin to produced one of only 18/98 clear rounds in the show jumping in the CIC**. Showjumping doesn’t come as easily to him as other horses but he really tries in the ring. Unfortunately I got a bit too competitive cross country and took a tight line a little too fast on slippy ground, and didn’t quite make the jump #sackthejockey ? Luckily Torres forgave me and conintued to skip round the course! Not quite the result he deserved after great performances in each of the three phases.
Thank you to Mum and Barb for being super grooms, and Lewis looking after the others horses at home.
Burgham is really worth the long drive up north, the cross country is always fun to ride! Now looking forward to Hartpury International with LAWA in the CCI** and MISERDEN RAVELLO in the CCI*
I couldn’t do this with the continued support of my amazing sponsors: Sue Carson Saddles, Keyflow UK, The Mark Todd Collection, Eventing Images, FMBs Therapy Systems, EquiClass
Also THANK YOU to Katie Neat Photography for the wonderful photos and to Tim Wilkinson (Eventing Images) for arranging them.
