Last weekend I took MISERDEN RAVELLO (a rising 6yo) along with LAWA and NANKIN DES RUETTES to theThe Mark Todd Collection Bridging the Gap training camp at Attington.
We had some great dressage, jumping and galloping sessions with Gill Watson and Lizzel Winter. Nonks even got to wear a heart rate monitor up the gallops and he got so excited his heart rate peaked trotting round before cantering!! He really is feeling AMAZING!
Huge huge thank you to Gill for inviting everyone round for dinner on the Saturday evening, giving us all an opportunity to warm up and thank you to Allison for cooking a lovely meal!
Also I must thank my Mum for being SUPER groom for the weekend, walking about a million miles bringing horses back and forth as times were tight.
Another thank you has to go to the University of Bath and Santander UK, I used the first installment of my Sports Scholarship to fund this training.
This week we have Combined Training at Rectory Farm with 4 horses and next weekend Sponsor Tim Wilkinson (Eventing Images) will be visiting and I will be keeping him busy capturing photos from the Combined Training at West Wilts and Cross Country schooling (fingers crossed the weather is kind)!!!
