CHARLES RR (Charlie) and LAWA (Torres) in the CCI** and CCI* respectively.
Charlie did a lovely calm test and fantastic jumping rounds to finish 17th in a very hot section. He was just incredible across the country pinging round clear inside the time again. He will finish the season with another Advanced run and a couple of consolidation runs at 2*.
Torres did a beautiful test to gain 43, followed by skipping round the cross country clear inside the time and just had a really unlucky pole to finish 12th. Compared with Tatts in May he felt SO grown up and very ready to move up. He was also a lot less sleepy on the final day! I cannot wait for his first 2* in October.
I’m so excited about these very very special young horses, they have the makings of being brilliant! Both have learnt a huge amount and gained invaluable experience from their CCI** and CCI* runs at Tattersalls and Hartpury this year.
