Last weekend I headed south to the Nunney International with NANKIN DES RUETTES in the CIC2* and LAWA in the Intermediate Novice.
NANKIN DES RUETTES (Super Nonks) jumped THE BEST clear XC with a couple of time in the CIC2*!
He did a nice test between spooking at the flower pots to score 50.1, unfortunately we added a very uncharacteristic 8 faults in the show jumping. No excuses, we each made a mistake that we both know better than to make… which wont be happening again!! Cross Country he was just amazing, after 7 seasons together this was one of the best rounds we’ve had, it was like cantering round a BE90!
LAWA also had a nice run round the Intermediate Novice producing his normal lovely test, just tipped a pole in the show jumping and a mega clear cross country! Unfortunately I was enjoying myself so much I forgot to kick and picked up 5 time faults (Oops!). Thrilled with both of them; I could not have asked for two better rounds cross country, it really was point and steer!
