AWESOME weekend at Aston le Walls, Northamptonshire with CHARLES RR (Charlie) in his first Advanced and LAWA (Torres) in his first Intermediate!
8yo Charlie was complete class as the youngest horse in the section jumping one of only 5 double clears! Making it feel ridiculously easy, and I am very exciting for the future.
7yo Torres did a lovely test in a competitive Open Intermediate u21 section to lie 4th after dressage, one really unlucky pole SJ, and a super confident clear cross country in the pouring rain! He also made it feel so easy; sending me into orbit a couple times in the showjumping arena!!!
NANKIN DES RUETTES (Nonks) was very sulky not to be coming with us, but now it’s rained he’s been entered at Wilton for the Open Intermediate u21. Bring on lots of spooking and naughtiness! We were however allowed out to BSJA at West Wilts on Thursday to behave like big kids and whiz round the 1.20m to finish 3rd in a very fast class!
